LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has called upon the government to accept the genuine demands of the growers.
Addressing a gathering of growers in front of the Punjab Assembly, he said the rulers had ruined the country’s agriculture, industry and trade and the growers were not getting the due price for their crop.
said if the TCP could purchase sugar from sugar mills owners, why did not it purchase over half a million tons of rice lying in different godowns. He urged the government to see reason and resolve the problems of the faring community.
