KARACHI: As many as five accused including Lyari gangster were killed in police encounter late night on Wednesday, police said.
According to the police, at least five alleged criminals were killed around Methadar, North Nazimabad, Gulshan-e-Hadeed and Korangi areas of Karachi.
Two gangster of Lyari gang war belonging to Wasi Ullah Lakho group were killed in police encounter in wee hours of Wednesday. The police said that the gangster were involved in grenade attacks, killings of 20 peoples, attacks on police and several others criminal activities.
A robber was shot dead by police as he was looting people in Korangi Dhai number. While in another incident near Gulshan-e-Hadeed a dacoit was killed in police encounter whereas his accomplice managed to flee from the scene.
A criminal who was snatching valuables from people at KDA roundabout in North Nazimabad was killed in police encounter while aide of the criminal was arrested in injured conditions.
