PTI Founder Imran Khan has instructed party Chairman Barrister Gohar, Secretary General Salman Akram Raja and Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram to continue the civil disobedience movement.
In a telephonic conversation with a local TV, Central Information Secretary Sheikh Waqas Akram said that the PTI founder has ordered to continue the call for civil disobedience.
He said that Imran Khan has instructed Barrister Gohar, Salman Akram Raja and him to discuss world affairs.
He added that the PTI founder has said that no one should talk about world affairs except the three of us from the platform of the party.
Sheikh Waqqas further said that Imran Khan said that if seriousness is seen in the negotiations, then they will think about withdrawing the call for civil disobedience.
The information secretary said that the former minister said that they should not compromise on their two main points in the negotiations, the first demand is the release of all political prisoners including the PTI founder and the second demand is on the events of May 9 and November 26.
It should be noted that the talks between the federal government and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf have officially started and both the negotiation committees have agreed to continue the talks. The second meeting between the government and the opposition committees will be held on January 2, 2025.
