KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rashid Godil’s condition has improved and signs show that he is mentally sound and safe, Liaquat National Hospital spokesman Anjum Rizvi told media on Friday.
Rizvi in a press briefing outside the hospital said that the MQM leader has passed 24 hours without ventilator and upon gaining consciousness recognized his loved ones and friends.
He however clarified that Godil’s condition cannot be termed ‘out of danger’ as the MQM leader is still in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Abid Sher Ali pays Godil a visit
Minister of State for Water and Power, Ch. Abid Sher Ali visited injured MQM leader Rashid Godal at Karachi and enquired about his health. Minister of State also prayed for his early recovery from the critical condition.
He further expressed his resolve that terrorism would be eliminated from the country very soon.
He said that the nation is united to establish peace at every part of the country.
