PESHAWAR: Pakistan military troops have commenced ground operations in Shawal tehsil of the tribal agency, North Waziristan, Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG-ISPR) said on Twitter.
DG ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa in his Twitter message said that ground operations have started in Shawal tehsil of the tribal agency by Pakistani military.
He quoted Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif who ordered military troops to achieve targets at earlier.
COAS directed military personnel to ensure firm coordination between air and ground forces during the operations.
