Israel has warned Syrian President Bashar al-Assad that if he did not cooperate with Tel Aviv in preventing transfer of weapons from Damascus to Beirut then he will suffer the same fate that of late Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom quoted regime officials as saying that Bashar al- Assad was conveyed a clear message that if he did not cooperate with Israel in preventing the transfer of weapons from Syria to Lebanon, he will suffer the fate of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Yisrael Beitenu party leader Avigdor Lieberman, last month, hurled the warning to Assad over Syria’s friendly ties with Iran and regional resistance groups.
While at the UN in New York, Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had ordered the assassination of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The Hezbollah chief was martyred in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut in September.
Syria has long been a thorn in Israel’s eyes. The regime randomly keeps attacking the country in violation of international law for over a decade now.
