Will hit all Israeli infrastructure if attacked, warns Iran

Iranian Defence Minister Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh has said that Tehran is fully capable of conducting dozens of operations like Operation True Promise that hit the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories in April this year.

“Iran’s defensive capability is high,” the defence minister was quoted as saying by Parliament’s Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy spokesman Ebrahim Rezaei during a meeting.

Iran had fired over 300 missiles and drones under the Operation True Promise against the occupied territories in reprisal for deadly aggression by the Israeli regime.

Tehran, earlier this month too, had fired 200 missiles towards Israeli military and intelligence bases all over the occupied territories as part of Operation True Promise II.

The second operation carried out in response to more deadly atrocities by the regime against the country and other regional nations.

Almost 90 per cent of the missiles fired during True Promise II successfully hit their targets.

Meanwhile, the defense minister addressed the issue of the attacks that the regime carried out against defensive targets across the Iranian provinces last week.

He said that the attacks failed to inflict any serious damage on the Iran’s missile and defence system manufacturing cycle.
