International Cricket Council (ICC) has lifted sanctions on Pakistan’s Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Amir and Salman Butt that is expiring on September 1 this year.

The players faced sanctions over spot-fixing during Pakistan’s tour to England in 2010, however, the trio was permitted to play all formats of the cricket after expiry of the ban period.

The players were banned to play cricket for 10 (five years suspended), seven (two years suspended) and five years respectively, after an ICC tribunal found them guilty of spot-fixing in a case stemming from the 2010 Lord’s Test, ESPNcricinfo said.
