Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday released election schedule for district-level officials of the Local Government (LG) in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Election for district-level administration to be held on August 30, 2015 across the province while Returning Officers (ROs) were appointed to hold scrutiny of the nomination papers. Candidates are permitted to take back their submitted nomination papers.
On the other hand, ECP released official results of Local Government (LG) election in KP where ruling provincial political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), on top with 395 seats followed by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) with 132, Awami National Party (ANP) 128, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) 118, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) 65 and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) 51.
