Islamabad Police released Jamaat-e-Islami leader and former senator Mushtaq Ahmad among others.
According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Police, former Senator Mushtaq Ahmed and his wife, along with members of the Save Gaza Movement, were released on a written guarantee not to do this again.
It should be remembered that Islamabad Police detained several participants of the Save Gaza Movement yesterday for violating Section 144.
Earlier, on June 22 of the same year, former center Mushtaq Ahmed had a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, after which it was announced to end the 41-day Save the Gaza sit-in in Islamabad.
