Bangladesh win first-ever Test match against Pakistan

Bangladesh have outclassed Pakistan winning the first Test match at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday.

Brilliant performance showed by Bangladesh bowlers who ran through Pakistani batters on the fifth day on Sunday.

After bowling out the Green Shirts at 146 in the second innings, Bangladeshi openers Zakir Hasan, 15*, and Sadhman Islam, 19* eased past the 30-run target, which was set by the Shan Masood-led side. The visitors achieved the target in mere 6.3 overs.

Bengal  Tigers’ today’s win have made their way to history books as this is their first-ever victory against Pakistan in red-ball cricket.

Earlier in the day, Pakistani batters failed to offer much resistance against visitors. Babar Azam scored 22, Shan Masood 14, Saud Shakeel 0, Abdullah Shafique 37 and Salman Ali Agha 0.

Mohammad Rizwan scored 51 and lost his wicket after being bowled out by Mehidy Hasan.

Shaheen Afridi made 2, Nasheem Shah 3  and Mohammad Ali (0) couldn’t hold off the Bangladeshi bowlers for long and the team  eventually bowled out at 146.
