Some players of the Pakistan cricket team have reached Lahore this morning after their early T20 World Cup exit.
Players and officials arrived at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport via private airline.
The players who arrived include Naseem Shah, Usman Khan and Wahab Riaz while captain Babar Azam, Haris Rauf, Imad Wasim, Azam Khan and Mohammad Amir did not return with the team.
The head coach of the national cricket team Gary Kirsten will leave for his home after the World Cup assignment while Mohammad Amir will go to England to join Derbyshire after staying in America for a couple of days.
It should be noted that the Pakistan team failed to reach the Super 8 round of the World Cup, Pakistan was defeated in 2 matches of the first stage, in which the national team lost an upset against the United States, while the national team also lost the match against India.
