QUETTA: Various political parties have been staging sin-ins and protests against the alleged rigging in the general elections in Balochistan.
According to details, a sit-in by PK MAP, National Party, BNP and Hazara Democratic Party has converted into a protest rally in Quetta.
The protesters were addressed by the leaders of the four-party alliance. National Party’s Dr. Abdul Malik speaking to protesters said that the nationalists are being kept away from the masses under a plan in Balochistan.
ANP has been staging a sit-in outside the district complex in Chaman, while in Qila Abdullah the JUI-F is protesting outside the DC Office for the last 10-day.
The Pakistan People’s Party’s protest, on the other hand, against the results of Naseerabad PB-14 has entered 11th day.
In Jaffarabad, the Jamhoori Watan Party has set up a protest camp at Rabi Canal.
Moreover, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in NA-40 North Waziristan has been staging a protest for the last nine days, badly affecting traffic flow on the highways as many goods vehicles have stuck.
The participants of the protests and sit-ins have demanded the release of results as per Form 45.
