KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) disgruntled leader Justice retired Wajihuddin on Saturday said that majority of PTI leaders have come forward by hijacking the intra party polls.

Talking to media in Karachi, Wajihuddin said that apart from Imran Khan and some other leaders, majority of PTI big wigs came forward by hijacking intra-party polls.

“How can they work for the betterment of party when they came up this way”, asked Wajihuddin.

He maintained that party chief Imran Khan agreed with him on the verdict of PTI election tribunal but is showing hesitation to implement the decision.

Wajihuddin was of the view that if the tribunal decisions are not implmented and intra-party polls are not held, PTI will have to face tough time in local body elections in Sindh and Punjab.

He also alleged that the party tickets in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) local body elections were also not given on merit.
