Chaudhry Nisar chairs Civil Armed Forces’ meeting in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Monday urged need of visible improvements in intelligence sharing mechanism to uproot crimes across the country.

Chaudhry Nisar chaired high-level meeting of Civil Armed Forces (CAF) in the federal capital Islamabad. He said that the country was facing major security challenges and the CAF would be provided all resources to counter the menace.

He clarified that ongoing Karachi operation will continue uptil getting decisive results. While briefing to the participants, DG Rangers  Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar said that actions by the para-military troops left marks of visible decrement in crimes in Karachi.

The meeting was attended by Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh Bilal Akbar and Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Punjab and top officials of other institutions.
