Naeem-ur-Rehman urges masses to transform Pakistan into Islamic welfare state

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has vowed to transform Pakistan into a state, where there would be no discrimination of rich and poor and the society would enjoy peace, harmony and brotherhood.

In a statement, regarding to the 69thIndependence Day, he said on Thursday that the basis on which Pakistan was created has been neglected.

He said that unfortunately corrupt ruling class has ruined the country, instead of running it as an Islamic Welfare State.

The JI leader urged masses to join hand for the cause of transforming Pakistan into an Islamic Welfare State as per the aspirations of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Iqbal and other leaders of the nation.

He said that our beloved motherland is facing external as well as internal threats. He urged masses to be united so as to safeguard Pakistan against the conspiracies of Pakistan’s enemies.
