The longest consultation between the leaders of two major political parties of Pakistan is going on in Dubai, but the name of the caretaker prime minister has not been finalized yet, although there is an agreement to hold the election at the appointed time.
Reliable sources connected to the current political meeting in Dubai say that the economic emergency in the country was also discussed, under which the possibility of postponing the election for 6 months has also been discussed, but both for the maturity and stability of the political system. Political leaders are also in favor of holding elections.
There are reports that a long meeting between former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and former President Asif Ali Zardari took place on Monday night. Highly reliable sources have confirmed that the consultation took place for about two and a half hours in a meeting room of a large hotel in Dubai.
In addition, it was reiterated several times in the consultation that the caretaker prime minister should be completely neutral and non-controversial so that the election results are accepted by all, but also on the need for a ‘strong economist’ to improve the economic system over the next few months. The emphasis is being given because both the leaders agree that the economic downturn will have a negative impact on the vote bank of the political parties.
