KARACHI: Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani on Thursday said that the verification and scrutiny of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) legislators will be conducted next week.
Durrani informed media that the the verification of the resignations will be done in person and each MPA will be asked about the the nature of his/her resignation.
The question will be if their resignation is “voluntary” or under some “pressure.

The scrutiny process will include verification of signature and bio-data of the resigning member.
On the other hand, insider sources say that the Sindh Assembly has decided not to accept the resignation of MQM members.
