After the increase in the price of electricity, the work is going on to increase the price of gas.

According to sources, the Ministry of Energy has informed the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) that the work on gas prices is going on.

Sources of the Ministry of Energy say that the increase in gas prices will happen in any case, because the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been written in this regard, and an assessment is being made as to which slab of consumers should increase the price of gas.

According to sources, gas is already very expensive for domestic consumers of 300 cubic meters and above per month, efforts are being made not to touch the last three most expensive gas slabs.

According to the sources of the Ministry of Energy, at present, the price per mmbt for gas usage up to 300 cubic meters per month is Rs1100.
