Islamabad: The federal government has announced Eid-ul-Adha holiday on June 28 as well.
The Sighting Hilal Committee has announced Eid-ul-Adha on Thursday, June 29 across the country.
With the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the Cabinet Division had also issued a notification for Eid-ul-Adha holidays, according to which Eid holidays were to be held on June 29 and 30.
According to the notification, the offices open 6 days a week were to have a holiday from June 29 to July 1, while for Eid-ul-Adha, 2 days holiday was announced in the offices open 5 days a week.
According to the sources, the news came out that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided to give a holiday for Eid-ul-Adha on June 28, but now the federal government has formally announced a holiday on June 28 as well.
