ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement MNAs resignations are not approved so far and the government would try to resolve MQM’s concerns.
While talking to media, he said that the speaker had right to delay in the approval of resignations and the speakers would attempt the option. NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq wrote just “please process” on the resignations and it did not mean that the resignations were approved, he added.
Khawaja Asif said that MQM Chief Altaf Hussain showed flexibility in his statement and they would bring him round on the resignations issue.
