ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Imran Khan has been arrested here on Tuesday.
Rangers arrested Imran Khan when he reached Islamabad High Court to appear before court.
Taking notice of the arrest, IHC Chief Justice Amir Farooq ordered IGP Islamabad to appear before court. He remarked that if IGP did not appear in 15 minutes then Prime Minister would be summoned.
What’s going on, in which case Imran Khan had been arrested, remarked IHC CJ.
The IGP Islamabad said that Imran Khan had been arrested in Al Qadir Trust case.
Situation in Islamabad is under control, the IGP said and added that Section 144 is imposed in the capital.
