Ottawa: A Muslim youth was stopped from praying at the railway station in Ottawa, the capital of Canada.
According to foreign media, the guard stationed at Ottawa’s railway station stopped Muslim youth Ahmad from praying, saying that his praying will disturb other people. The guard also warned the Muslim youth not to pray in the vicinity of the upcoming railway station.
According to reports, the Muslim youth was offering prayers in an empty hall of the railway station where no people were present. The video of the Muslim youth being stopped from praying went viral on social media.
“We don’t want you praying in here. You’re bothering our other customers.”

The railway station management suspended the guard while apologizing unconditionally to the Muslim youth and the Muslim community and announced an investigation into the incident.
