KARACHI: Jamaat-e-lslami (JI) organised ‘Pakistan Zindabad Rally’ in the economical hub of Pakistan, Karachi, in connection with the Independence Day Celebration and boost pro-Pakistan sentiments among citizens.
Jamaat-e-Islami leadership also decided to organise the rally to thwart every bid of anti-state elements across the country through exhibiting strong public power on the streets of the metropolis.
JI Chief senator Sirj-ul-Haq will lead the rally that would move from Nipa Chowrangi to Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum.
The religio-political party established hundreds of camps to facilitate the Karachiites in every neighbourhood to join the rally along with families.
JI Karachi Ameer Naeem-ur-Rehman led the rally on motorcycle commenced from Nipa round about to Quaid-e-Azam Tomb and also distributed national flags among passersby and commuters.
He said that JI represents Karachiites and decides to celebrate the Independence Day with patriotic fervor, which is a much needed act, particularly in this changing national scenario.
