KARACHI: Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani said that he has demanded foolproof security for Sindh Assembly fearing a possible attack.

During the Sindh Assembly session, the deputy speaker told MPAs that he has written a letter to Inspector General (IG) Sindh and Director General (DG) Rangers regarding the security concerns.

He said that he has expressed his concerns over the serious security threat the building faces in the letter by writing that the roads leading to the assembly are insecure.

Remarking on Durrani’s information, Opposition leader Shehryar Mehar exclaimed that we cannot even talk to IG and the honourable speaker is talking about getting security.

Pakistan’s armed forces are fighting armed rebels in country’s northwest rising security fears for almost all the important establishments of the country.
