Pakistan domestic cricket structure needs to be overhauled: Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD: Cricketer-turned politician and chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that cricket in Pakistan has been undergoing retrogressive phase.

In his message on micro blogging site twitter, he said that Pakistan domestic cricket structure has completely failed. Imran Khan said” Since 80s I have been saying Pakistan’s domestic cricket structure is deeply flawed & needs to be overhauled.”

The PTI chief  also held responsible Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for cricket mess as he had made a journalist as a Pakistan Cricket Board chief just to award the post for alleged help in rigging.

He suggested that there is need to overhaul domestic cricket in Pakistan.
