LAHORE: Hajj Operation 2022 has started in Pakistan.

After Lahore, the first flight from Islamabad left for Madinah carrying 220 pilgrims, while the first flight from Multan will depart at 4.30 pm.

Governor Punjab Baligh-ur-Rehman saw off the pilgrims from Lahore Airport. A total of 32,000 pilgrims will be flown to Hijaz Muqaddas by 106 flights.

According to the Saudi Interior Ministry, this year, pilgrims from five countries, including Pakistan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Morocco and Bangladesh, will be brought to the kingdom under the Route To Makkah project.

Pilgrims under the Route to Makkah project are immigrated to their home countries. When they arrive in the country, they are simply scanned with a barcode and put on buses.

The luggage of the pilgrims coming under the scheme is also taken from their countries. They don’t have to worry about luggage after coming to the kingdom.

Meanwhile, Saudi authorities today banned people from entering Riaz al-Jannah without permission during the Hajj.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs said that the decision was taken by Saudi officials to avoid the Corona SOPs and heavy rush.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has instructed that pilgrims arriving in Madinah should not go to Riaz ul Jannah without Saudi permission.

Saudi officials will impose heavy fines on those who enter Riaz ul Jannah without permission.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has clarified that permission is not required to perform prayers in other parts of the Holy Haram.
