CM Sindh lashes out at NAB, FIA

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Thursday lashed out at National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) over interfering in provincial affairs.

He was of the view that corruption was a provincial subject after the 18th amendment. He said that provincial affairs did not come under the domain of NAB and FIA.

Qaim Ali Shah said that every institution should work in its domain. He asked that why Rangers became so active in Sindh. He said that they had the department of anti corruption so other institutions were not needed to work here.

CM Sindh said that he had reservations about FIA, so it should not come here. He said that they would defend their constitutional rights. He said that Rangers took thousands of files into custody in Karachi and Shikarpur.
