ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif on Thursday lashed out at Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) over letter to Indian High commission to seek help.
He termed MQM as an enemy of Pakistan. While talking to media, he said that those who were involved in such activities could not even be considered Pakistanis.
Khawaja Asif said, “There are forums available to the MQM in Pakistan and if they chose to knock on India’s doors, I would not even consider them Pakistanis.”
MQM had written a letter to the Indian High Commission asking them to raise their voice for the recovery of detained party workers. While MQM said it had written the letter to 55 embassies and not just India.
