BAHAWALPUR: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq has said that corrupt mafia is prevailing in the country in the form of PML-N, PTI and PPP, due to which inflation, unrest and injustice reign in the country today.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that previous governments borrowed from IMF and instead of utilizing on the people, they embezzled the funds. The time is not far when masses will grab the these rulers by their collars. A revolution is needed in this region similar to the one the Holy Prophet PBUH brought to Madinah.
Siraj-ul-Haq lashed out at the government and local elected representatives over the plight of Cholistan and the indifference of the government and said that the whole world has seen the pictures of the current drought in Cholistan.
The Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan said that the resources and canal waters of Cholistan are under the control of VVIPs and powerful class while the poor Cholistani is thirsty for drinking water. Deaths have occurred while human lives are in grave danger.
He said that the local elected representatives were trying to save their seats while the people of their own constituency were in a state of disarray. ۔
