KARACHI: The Meteorological Department has forecast an increase in the intensity of heat in Karachi next week.
Chief Metrologist Sardar Sarfraz said that due to low air pressure, the intensity of heat in Karachi has started decreasing these days.

According to the chief meteorologist, the temperature in the city is expected to remain at 34 to 36 degrees Celsius for the next three days.
Sardar Sarfraz said that rains are expected in the northern parts of the country due to low wind pressure while light rain with wind is expected in Dadu, Nawabshah and Sanghar on April 16 and 17.
Due to this system, rain is likely in Upper Sindh, Sukkur, Larkana and Jacobabad.
