Govt has support of less than 140 members: Zubair

KARACHI: PML-N central leader and former Sindh governor Muhammad Zubair has once again claimed regarding the members supporting the government.

Speaking on a local TV show, Muhammad Zubair said that Imran Khan had lost the majority because he did not have the support of 172 members.

The former Sindh governor claimed that the government had the support of less than 140 members.

On the question of giving the chief ministership of Punjab to PML-Q leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, the PML-N central leader said that the decision would be taken by the leadership of both the parties.

Muhammad Zubair said that news about this was aired on some channels which was denied by PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb.

It may be recalled that even before this Muhammad Zubair had released figures supporting of Prime Minister Imran Khan on the social media.

Earlier, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz has alleged that there is a woman named Farah from Lahore who has close links with the Bani Gala and is involved in sorcery.

Maryam Nawaz addressed the workers in Lahore and slammed Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In her speech, Maryam said, “There is a woman named Farah from Lahore who has close links with Bani Gala and is involved in sorcery.

Millions of rupees are received as bribe against postings and transfer. You will see proofs in the coming days in the media, she said.

After this, while answering the question about a woman named Farah on social media, Maryam Nawaz said that this is the father of all scandals and it has links with Bani Gala.
