Speaking on Hum News show on Wednesday, he said that under Article A of the Constitution, if a member of the assembly votes in favor of the other party during the approval of budget or no-confidence, his membership is terminated.

The PM’s aide said that the opposition had failed before and would continue to fail.

On the issue of Qasim Suri, the opposition had asked me for face saving, he added. However, I said this is a constitutional matter, it is not possible now ,to which they had to withdraw the movement, he added.

He said that the campaign against the prime minister was started without any doubt at the behest of external forces. The series began with the Prime Minister’s denial of bases to the West. The campaign is being run by opposition people whose assets are out, Awan said.

The PM’s aide said that every time we have defeated the opposition be it Senate or other issues. PTI members are all united and will defeat the opposition again. Those who do not want to see Usman Bazdar as Chief Minister, let them wait longer, he added.
