TAMAKURU, India: Indian police have registered a case against Muslim students protesting against a ban on hijab here.

According to the Indian news agency ANI, a case has been registered against 10 female students protesting in front of the girls’ college in Tamakuru city of Karnataka.

It should be noted that Section 144 has been imposed in different districts due to the tensions caused by the protests, under which there is a ban on protesting against hijab restriction.
