Maryam says Imran won’t be able to save himself despite using state power

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif has claimed said that Imran Khan cannot save himself no matter how much state power he uses.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Maryam Nawaz said:”The tide has turned… Mr Imran Khan! No matter how much state’s power you use, you cannot save yourself.”

The PML-N vice-president’s remarks came hours after the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested media personality Mohsin Baig.

Baig resisted arrest and opened fire at an FIA team. As a result, a personnel of FIA cybercrime wing got injured.

The FIA had registered a case against the journalist at the request of Murad Saeed, federal communications minister.

Maryam said that your (PM’s) list of crimes not only includes taking revenge from rivals but also using state organs like FIA and NAB  to settle your personal score. You will be held accountable,” she added.
