KARACHI: Sindh Information and Labour Minister Saeed Ghani has said the youth of Karachi in large number will accompany the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on February 27 at the start of the long march towards Islamabad to make the present government accountable for the prevailing problems of increasing joblessness and price-hike in the country.

The Sindh minister stated this on Sunday while speaking at a protest demonstration organised by People’s Youth Organisation (PYO), Karachi Division, outside the Karachi Press Club against the anti-people policies of the PTI’s federal government.

Saeed Ghani said on the occasion that the ill-advised economic policies had caused suffering to the youth in the country due to the issues of joblessness and ever-increasing inflation.

He said that the constant increase in the prices of essential and daily use items had created a massive economic burden on the public.

He said the ideology of the PPP always stood for resolving the basic issues of the people as People’s Party’s Chairman Bilawal through his politics had tried to overcome the miseries of the people on a preferential basis.

General-Secretary of PPP Sindh, Waqar Mehdi, said that properly educated youth in the country had to face hardships in finding a suitable job owing to the defective economic policies of the present federal government.

He said that basic edible items, which were consumed in the kitchen every day had become costliest to the utter dismay of the working class in the country whose members had been facing serious difficulties due to the continuing PTI’s rule in the country.

President of PYO Sindh, Jawed Nayyab Laghari, said that the People’s Party had emerged as the last hope for the people in the country owing to the prevailing uncertain economic conditions.

He lamented the situation that the university graduates in the country despite having proper academic and professional qualifications didn’t have any job prospects due to the economic crisis caused by the present government.

He urged the youth in the country to lend support to Bilawal against the present anti-people government as once the students in the past had supported the PPP founder Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to get rid of the dictatorial regime in the country.
