Foreign funding case: Abbasi says PTI didn’t reply where did money come from and who sent it?

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said where did the money come from and who sent it? There was no response from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf in the foreign funding case.

Speaking at a news conference here on Wednesday, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that there is evidence of Akbar S Babar’s statement, in which he had said that PTI’s party accounts are not shared with any official. Akbar S Babar is a founding member of PTI.

The PML-N leader said that the PTI did not provide any record to the Election Commission of Pakistan. The party had wasted three years while changing its counsel. A scrutiny committee was formed on the order of the Supreme Court which started probe, Abbasi recalled.
