LAHORE: Sartaj Aziz, a former foreign adviser during the PML-N government has claimed that Nawaz Sharif came into politics through the establishment but soon his thinking was changed.
Sartaj Aziz, speaking on a local TV show, said that in the 90s Nawaz Sharif had decided that now the war of civil supremacy is to be fought.

The former foreign adviser further said in the interview that the Army is the reality of this country and Nawaz Sharif realises this.
He said that Nawaz Sharif wants to take the Army on board fighting challenges like terrorism and Covid together. However, he does not want the Army to make its supremacy in politics in return.
