KARACHI: Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar has said that we would not succeed if we carry political goals.
The federal minister addressing a ceremony here on Sunday said that the voice of people living in Karachi should also be heard, while other cities of Sindh also have bad conditions.

He said that giving powers to provinces does not solve problems and the system of local governments should be fully empowered. This is the issue of basic rights of the people of Karachi, he added.
Asad Umar said that the system of local governments also existed in Sindh in the past.
I did not come here to ask for vote for PTI and there is no complaint on federally linked projects from Sindh government, he said.
