MQM should clear its position over Altaf Hussain’s speeches: JI chief

ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussian has put Karachiites in trouble with his hate speeches and now it is the time that MQM should clear its position over leader’s speeches.

Talking to media in federal capital, Senator Siraj said that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) should be independent like Supreme Court as far as revenue is concerned in order to organise free and fair elections in the country.

After every elections several questions are raised regarding transparency in election process and every time it was declared rigged, he said. The same thing happened in Elections 2013 which led to another campaign, he added.

People have their concerned regarding ECP and that should be removed from the institution, Siraj said and added that there is a big room of improvement in the elections process.
