ISLAMABAD: On the request of the federal government, the Speaker of National Assembly has postponed the bill regarding the electronic voting machine (EVM).

In a joint session of parliament chaired by Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Advisor Parliamentary Affairs Babar Awan requested to delay the electronic voting machine bill.
Babar Awan said in the house that the opposition wants to talk on the electronic voting machine bill, so it should be postponed.

On the request of advisor for parliamentary affairs, the Speaker postponed the electronic voting machine bill.

It is believed that in the joint session of parliament today, many bills including electronic voting machine and overseas Pakistanis are being presented.
