ISLAMABAD: Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will only get gas for cooking while the rest of the time there will be no gas supply.
The Ministry of Petroleum and Sui Northern Gas Company has developed a strategy for gas supply.
Sources said that the ministry of petroleum and gas companies have chalked out a new gas schedule under which only a few hours the gas will be supplied to domestic users.
Sources in the Sui Northern Gas Company said that the domestic consumers will get gas from 5:30 am to 8:30 am, while in the day from 11:30 to 2:00 PM and in the evening from 4 to 10 PM.
According to the sources, the gas supply schedule will be implemented from December to February.
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Noman Kabir has rejected the gas supply schedule.
He said that those responsible for the failure to supply gas should be determined. The non-supply of gas will stop the industrial wheel, he added.
