KARACHI: A finance ministry spokesperson has said that the prices of commodities have begun to come under control. The good news is that the sugarcane’s record crop is expected, which will make sugar cheaper, he added.

Finance Ministry Spokesperson Muzammil Aslam said, in a statement, that the bumper agricultural production is expected that will help food prices come down.

The prices of goods in the global market have increased. We do not have the authority to increase the prices in the global market.

He said that due to corona, inflation increased all over the world. Pakistan’s exports are growing rapidly. In October, exports increased by 17 per cent. For the first time in the country’s history, we will achieve the target of $30 billion exports.
