Cantt board elections: 171 out of 199 wards unofficial results

ISLAMABAD: Unofficial results of cantonment boards revealed ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz snatched lead of independent candidates by winning over 59 seats in the Local Bodies’ election held in cantonment areas across Pakistan.

Independent candidates have won 47 seats so far followed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s 34 seats, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) 14, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) with 6 seats, Awami National Party (ANP) 4, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) 6 and Pakhtun-khwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) with single seat, unofficial results said.

The results were belonging to 171 wards out of total 199 seats of the cantonment boards across the country.
