Ramiz Raja vows to focus on grassroots level cricket

LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja has vowed to focus on grassroots level cricket which has been neglected in the past.

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ramiz Raja held a meeting with the officials of the First Boards of Cricket Associations at the National High Performance Center, in which he briefed the participants on his views on grassroots cricket.

The PCB chief also called for reviving school and club cricket activities as soon as possible and upgrading the infrastructure to provide the best facilities and environment to the youth at this level.

“Pakistan has been ignoring grassroots cricket for many years but I want to focus on it,” he said.
