ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and Turkmenistan vow to expedite work on the Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India (TAPI) gas pipeline project, which was scheduled to be accomplished by 2018.
Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain and Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow shake hands in Istanbul to accelerate work on the project.
Work on the project is being continued but Pakistan and Turkmenistan have reservations over security situation in Afghanistan.
