PESHAWAR: At least 14 people – eight women and children among them – were dead after two houses caved in in the wake of torrential rains and lightning in Torghar district.
Police said that 14 people, including women an children were dead and two injured after two houses caved in following heavy rains and lightning in Jhatka village.
Rescue officials said that the bodies had been pulled out from the debris while the injured had been shifted to a hospital.
Meanwhile, Nullah Jaagran is flooded in the wake of torrential rains in Neelum Valley and its adjoining areas.
On the other hand, Utth point has been closed for traffic after landsliding.
