ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed on Monday said that Shehbaz Sharif should forget the past as the doors of dialogue are open.

Addressing a presser here, Rasheed said that if he (Shehbaz Sharif) wants to forget the past and talk then start with an electronic voting machine (EVM).

The interior minister said that the Afghan team was in touch with the Interior Ministry regarding the case of the daughter of the Afghan ambassador. Its upto the Afghan team, if it wants to take interview of 11 people, including a taxi driver.

He said that thousands of people are hiding in the country without visas. These people should apply for visas online in a month or else leave the country, he warned.

He said that all the foolproof arrangements had been made for the security of Chinese engineers. Investigation into the Dasu bus explosion is underway, therefore, cannot offer any comment, the interior minister said.
