NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s younger brother Prahlad Modi had come out against him.

Prahlad Modi, who is vice-president of All India Fair Price Shop Dealers’ Federation, had sharply criticized the government and made a statement in favour of traders.

He said that whether it was Modi or someone else, he would have to accept the demands of the traders.

If Modi does not accept the demands, then traders should refuse to pay GST, Prahlad Modi said.

He questioned why Modi did not listen to traders’ demands? He has to pay heed to the demands.
