ISLAMABAD: PML-N has rejected the election results of Azad Kashmir and announced a protest movement.
A meeting of party ticket holders was held in Islamabad under the auspices of PML-N in which the results of the July 25 elections in Azad Kashmir were rejected.
PML-N has announced a nationwide protest movement against the election results in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan and abroad.
Addressing the meeting, former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said, “I pay tribute to the people of Azad Kashmir who fought the worst fraud. Our mandate was stolen. We will not sit idle. We will work with the leadership of Azad Kashmir to work out a plan of action.” ۔
Secretary General PML-N Ahsan Iqbal said that the PML-N candidates fought hard despite the bullying and rigging, the country is at a turning point and PML-N is in the right direction.
